Position Overview
Atchison Hospital is hiring an RN Infusion Nurse for full-time employment. Signing bonus available.
Job Description
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain peripheral IV lines
- Modify treatment dosages by assessing patients, labs, and consulting protocols
- Provide documentation for insurance authorization for various managed care patients
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered Kansas Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Schedule
- Full time
- 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
- On Wednesdays, one of the Infusion Nurses will flex to the Surgical Services Department to pre-op and recover patients.
