Commission Approves Skate Park Project at Reisner

The Reisner Park Skatepark project landed some big jumps this summer with a $5,000 grant award from The Skatepark Project (formerly known as the Tony Hawk Foundation), a $120,000 donation from Skate High with Hope the Joshua Kinsman Foundation and on August 17th, the City Commission authorized a design-build contract with Artisan Skateparks to construct a $200,000 skatepark at Reisner Park.
The City has budgeted $75,000 in 2021 capital improvement funding to round out the project which is tentatively planned to begin construction in spring and completed in summer of next year.
